The island of Pulau Lang Tengah is located about 20 km offshore from Kuala Terengganu and 10 km west of Pulau Redang. It is a small island sat between Perhentian and Redang Island.
The island itself is about 47.7 acres in size. The Management of this island comes under gazettes of Fisheries Protected Areas and the Fisheries Act 1985. It is established as a marine park under the Marine Parks Malaysia order 1994, which came into force on 15 Dec 1994. The tropical climates of the island are influenced by the North East Monsoon. Daily temperatures are between 22 to 33 degrees.
